KG1 Fruit & Vegetable Market Visit – 24th July 2024

Introduction: As part of our ongoing educational theme on fruits and vegetables, the KG1 students at Global Toddlers were given a unique opportunity to visit a nearby market on 24th July 2024. This visit aimed to provide the children with a real-life experience, enriching their understanding of healthy eating habits in a fun and engaging way.

Experience at the Market: The market, a place of hustle and bustle, served as the perfect environment for the children to explore and learn. The vibrant colors of the fruits and vegetables captured their attention, sparking curiosity and excitement. Each stall offered something new to see, touch, and even smell, making the learning experience all the more immersive.

Learning Objectives: The visit was designed to complement the classroom lessons on fruits and vegetables, allowing the children to see, in real life, what they had been learning about. The interaction with vendors and the variety of produce available helped reinforce the importance of healthy eating habits. The children learned about different fruits and vegetables, their colors, shapes, and the importance of including them in their diet.

Conclusion: The KG1 visit to the fruit and vegetable market was not just an outing but an integral part of our commitment to hands-on learning. By engaging the children in such real-world experiences, we aim to nurture their curiosity and promote lifelong healthy habits. This visit was a delightful way to bring the classroom lessons to life, leaving the children with lasting memories and valuable lessons about nutrition.
