An Insightful Teacher Training Session
On 22nd December (Monday), an enriching training session was conducted by Mrs. Bibhudutta Satpathy, Global Toddlers – Centre Head, focusing on understanding and handling distraction in toddlers.
The session emphasized looking beyond academics, helping teachers recognize distraction as a silent emotion. Teachers learned to decode children’s feelings through observation and empathy, and to understand how emotions influence attention and learning from the start of a child’s day.
The training highlighted the importance of intentional teaching—delivering concepts with clarity, creativity, and purpose in short, meaningful moments. Practical strategies such as jingles, playful cues, voice modulation, and interactive engagement were shared to capture children’s attention and spark curiosity.
It reinforced that classrooms are safe spaces where strong teacher–child connections nurture happy, confident learners. By observing mindfully and responding with warmth, teachers can create classrooms filled with joy, learning, and smiles.
