Nursery Fruit Week (25-28th July)

‘’Fruit is nature’s candy.’’

Eating fruit provides health benefits – people who eat more fruits as part of an overall healthy diet. Fruits provide nutrients vital for health and maintenance of our body.

Healthy Diet is one of the most important factors for health in children. Not only can a healthy diet give kids the proper nutrition that they need for development, but it can also give them healthy habits that they can keep with them throughout their lives.

In Global toddler’s children celebrated fruit week & fruit salad day (25th July- 28th July, 2022). Each child brought different fruits like apples, grapes, pomegranate, water melon, banana, guava, pears from their home. Teachers showed how to peel, cut the fruits. And then teachers showed them how to make fruit salad. Kids loved to have the salad with their friends. All the kids brought cut apples on 26th July, pomegranates on 27th July and watermelons on 28th July.

Children learnt the importance of eating fruits. They learnt the importance of eating healthy food. Toddlers enjoyed the entire fruit week thoroughly. Here are few glimpses of this activity.
