GT Market Day
Practical experience makes learning more interesting. With this in mind “GT Market Day” was organised on 27th September 2019 based on the monthly concept of “Vegetables and Fruits” for children from Playgroup to KG2 .
The children of KG1 and KG2 had got fruits and vegetables respectively. The tiny tots of GT that is our Playgroup & Nursery children visited the Fruit and Vegetable market as buyers. The children were explained that in order to get anything from a shop they would require money, so the children gave the paper currencies and got a chance to buy the vegetable /fruit. The sellers were children from KG1 and KG2 who really displayed a commendable job by posing themselves as vendors , as we could hear them shout out the vegetable/fruit they had in order to attract the buyers and make sure their items got sold out. We could see the children asking the sellers the rate of each vegetable/fruit and then buying them. This way they understood the concept of buying and selling.
The kids across all levels really enjoyed and got a real feel of visiting a market . We in GT always believe that whatever done should be meaningful and with a cause. So the vegetables and fruits which the children had got were donated to a Blind School called ” Divine light trust for the blind” near Hopefarm Circle. We are sure you would be eagerly waiting to see your little one’s pictures so here are few glimpses of the GT Market Day.
